It took 3 hours for me to get to 81st st to world trade on the C on tuesday afternoon; I saw multiple people passed out on the subway due to heat. I xfer to the F and the conductor lies to us saying we will go to brooklyn and then the train ends at world trade. I had to walk over the brooklyn bridge because the A, C, F, M, and J were all not going to brooklyn, maybe the 2, 3 was but at that point I couldnt trust the MTA. 2.5 hours into being stuck on the train someone comes and hands out flyers saying the MTA needs more $$ and this wouldnt happen if they had more $$. Congestion pricing will not solve this problem and the MTA will ask for more and more $$ if we keep giving it to them. How is it fair to tax people who do not ride the subway for the subway when they have a huge inflated budget already? The people that are protesting to be taxed more are delusional. Maybe instead of congestion pricing and even more taxes, we could stop federal aid to Ukraine and Israel and use that to improve our own countries infrastructure.. Stop using my tax dollars on foreign 'aid'/ wars, let Israel and the EU deal with the problems they created.

I think needing more money is b.s. I work at a museum and many pieces of equipment are in bad condition, reason not a lot of funding. Why? The president and many managers are earning over 500k a year, and free housing. I think their salaries should be cut to improve conditions, same should go for the mta.
