After decades of riding Harley's and Victory's. I added a T120 to my fleet and now it's the bike I ride the most. I feel like I graduated to a new level.

I have the same headlight/drl/idiot light setup on my Speedmaster. To me, it makes sense. You're going to want your headlight on at night, generally. What you don't want is a bright green light on the clocks causing an unnecessary distraction in the dark. At first I thought it was a little arse about face, but after 5 minutes or so I got my head round the concept fine.
Nice video, once again. Stunning looking bike, nearly as good looking as my Speedy!

Loved the ‘Hey Kids’ intro… a throwback to the good ole days! Let’s be honest, most of us riding motorcycles are just big kids. My vote is to bring it back, full time 🙏🏻👍🏻💯🔝🎥🎬🆒

Love your channel. I bought my T120 a year ago and did 11, 000 miles my first year. It’s performance is amazing once stock pipes are gone and decat performed. I rode all over the Deep South of the US with no windshield. It’s amazing! Thank you for the video!

The US model of the T120 doesn’t have “daytime running lights” or a DRL switch . When you turn on the bike the headlight is in normal mode and there a switch to turn on/off the hi-beam. The bike is bigger than the speed twin ( has a different frame ) so it is going to be heavier. Compared to my Ninja 650, I don’t notice and significant weight difference. My 650 has gotten little use since I bought the T120.

Just took delivery of a gorgeous 2023 T120. I previously owned a 1966 and 1973 Bonneville. It struck me that it had been 50 years between Bonnevilles.

I bought a new T120 two years ago and I've put 3800 around-town miles on it. I have to agree it is expensive but that's OK. I've never felt the bike was too heavy while moving it around the garage. By far my favorite characteristic is the way the engine makes power! Gobs of low-end grunt and great sounds! I also enjoy the appearance of the bike. Just today a woman shouted at me as I left the parking lot, "what sort of bike is that? It looks awesome!"

Another great video…….got a point to raise though. You say your second dislike is the price of the bike and question weather it is worth the 10k pounds. But then your second best like is the fit and finish of the bike and all the extra little trinkets that come on it. Well, it’s the fit and finish of the Triumph and all those little trinkets that add up to the 10k pounds. Just my two cents. Love your videos. Keep it up. 👍👍👍

Good review Andy.
I find the T120 a great companion and a charming bike to ride. It has plenty of power for the market it is aimed at. Those who want more from a Triumph can buy one of the triples. I tested the T120 back-to-back with a Z900RS and the Triumph - for me - had the character at "real world" speeds that the Kawasaki lacks.
I will now make another unfair comparison. Given the choice between a new Interceptor and a 2 year old, showroom condition T120 with 2, 500 on the clock for under £8K, I did not hesitate for a moment.

I had a T120 for a couple of years, modified it a bit and loved it. It one of those few vehicles, in my opinion, that makes you feel a certain way when you ride/drive it, by which I mean the original Mini, VW bus, Beetle. It almost like a time machine that takes you to a better time and place. I think my jet lag is kicking in! 🤪

"Where the hell am I?!" Lol. Been there a few times Andy. Still-all part of the adventure! 😁

I had to raise the bars and reupholstered the seat for it to be comfortable, fitting an x pipe reduced the jerkyness in first and second gear, owned my 2016 one for just over three years now and it's a keeper.

I've owned my 2017 Thruxton 1200 since new and I love it. I too thought that the dip beam light on the dashboard was a bit odd but as others have said it makes sense at night. It's simply a feelgood machine and fixes most of the things about my previous 865cc Thruxton that I wanted to change.

Great video yet again, I have just bought myself a t120 and I love it. That engine is something to behold, it just feels great. I do understand the back and forth between the Interceptor and the T120 in regard to which to buy as I've just been through it myself. Finally it was my wife (she's a keeper, coming up 32 years now) who said to me not to let price be a factor and go with the bike that made me grin the most. I did and am very happy, the Interceptor is a fantastic bike though and I get why it's so popular. I do love that bonne engine and the looks of the bike. Ride what makes you grin.

Hi Andy ! Well I have actually ordered the 2022 Matt Black / Silver Graphite Triumph Bonneville T120. The new generation per se. Yes even I moan about the weight and chucking it around corners and my garage. We will disagree on the light switch however. I pick the bike up in late January 2022. Wish me luck. A little expensive I agree.

I think their are 11 changes for the new generation, and 7 significant ones.

All the best my UK friends for your winter riding, Summer for us now.

Auckland. NZ. Regards John.

The T120 is the best looking Triumph Classics of them all. And by far the most comfortable. As a 50+ man this bike really is the best alternative. After riding both the Thruxton and the Bonnie I really must say that the Bonnie is a pure delight and the Thruxton a torturing device. ; )

Good job. As a former rider of 60s era Bonnies, I apreciate the new ones.In fact I love the new ones so much that I bought a 22 Bobber!
Happy Motoring.

I have had my (2016) T120 for the past 6 months. I would concur about the weight (try getting it onto the centre stand !!). But once on the go, its superb. Very stable and the grunt is in the right area.
One thing you have not commented on is the iffy low speed running, which many owners experience.
I have (like many) fitted a power plug, which improves matters, but at low revs it still has patches of 'hunting' and surging. Other than that, its one of the best bikes I (at the grand age of 68) have the pleasure of owning.

I have a 2017 T120 and I love it. Great "almost do it all bike". I think we have to mention its low fuel consumption when compared of what it offers in terms of power and torque.
Greetings from Rio de Janeiro !
