I'm just enjoying how you were doing the commentary and had to eat some more bacon before you could comment more... As a guilty indulgence, make a mushroom bacon cheeseburger with beef bacon, pepper jack cheese and any mushroom you like. Use the bacon grease to sautee the onions, peppers and mushrooms. It's an occasional indulgence.

I had the same initial reaction when my husband brought home beef bacon from the butcher. I was like “what do we even use this for?” This video helped me realize I can probably use it just like bacon. I’m going to make BLTs on whole wheat bread. I bet it’ll be great!

Thanks for the video. I discovered beef bacon a couple of yrs ago and tried it once and said nah because it tasted like corned beef to me. At the time of discovery I too heard cool it in the oven but I like the idea of putting it on a wire rack and cook it. So I’ll be doing that on my next attempt.

I grew up COG7 which is a church that doesn't eat pork or shell fish. Loved that beef bacon from little on up. Not a new thing for us. I want to try it in the oven now, though!

Mmmm yes, I never knew about it either, after becoming Muslim 7 yrs ago I was looking for something like this for my BLTs, and about 3 yrs ago a brother at a mosque here in NYC told me about it and boy o boy
It's so much like regular bacon
I even make it crispy & add it to my thanksgiving stuffing mmmm my only
Issue is it's way more expensive!!! And I got 3 boys plus hunny to feed ;)

We had this diner where I grew up, and the owners were Jewish so the whole menu was kosher. No pork products anywhere but they sold beef bacon and I love it personally. It’s definitely not the same as pork but it’s still good.

I actually think that beef bacon like turkey bacon tastes better and is more lean than pork bacon.

If anyone lives near Marshallville Ohio. Stop in at the Marshaville Packing Company. Their Beef Bacon rocks. I live over an hour away. But always go there to restock. If it weren't almost midnight local time. I would go make myself some now. Mm mmm.
