This could kill you!

today I finally took Fricknjeep's (AKA John) advice and fixed the lever assembly in our carriage. As you may have seen in previous videos the carriage would drift forward or back, and we could not adjust that drift out. The problem was the bushings were worn out. After making new pins and installing bronze bushings, I took John's advice and modified the assembly so there was a roller in place of the bent metal. And... no more drift. It would have been a bad day if the carriage pushed someone into the saw blade!

Looks good, Wayne. Did you leave provisions for oiling that roller and those pins? You should have been here for the premiere and chatted with us (me?).
