In the best hidden towns in Colorado we go off the tourist path to find some unique and fun towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.

Colorado Native has been traveling all over Colorado for decades driving thousands of miles and hiking hundreds of miles every year and has recorded a large amount of the state whether it is the pristine wildernesses of the High Rockies, the plains on the east side, or the red rock canyons on the west. On this channel you will find everything about Colorado even those obscure and strange places people rarely know about.

My new channel where we go and check out interesting, strange, or unknown places.

Wow. The negative comments are astonishing! Face it gang, Colorado is not a secret and it hasn't been for decades. I can't claim to be a native but I lived there for 35 years and raised a family there. Yeah, the tourists may sometimes be a nuisance but they're paying the freight for an awful lot of you. I'm not begrudging the longing for the good old days but I also don't much get your selfishness either. Why should you get to enjoy the beauty and wildness of the state but not others? If it's so bothersome, move to Alaska. Thanks for the video Ryks.

I grew up in Northern California and now live in Texas. I miss the Sierra Nevada's so I started visiting Colorado which is amazing. I have been back there every year for my vacation for the last 5 years and I am always in awe of the beauty every time I go. If you are able to live in some of these area's mentioned you are truly fortunate. I read some of the comments below and well tourism is a double-edged sword for sure, ..on the one hand many of these small communities get ALOT of thier revenue from people visiting their beautiful space However, .I get the animosity created out of living in a beautiful area and then suddenly you are either priced out or find yourself overwhelmed with tourists who don't have the same care and respect for your space.

Being a resident of Love land, we surprised to know we are living in one of the beautiful places. Since 1999, I have been living here and we visited most of villages in the state and neighboring places, but we like the places in CO. Thanks for protecting environment and it's beauty for next generations. We have to salute those people. Our responsibility to continue this eco system for future generations too.

On the rare occasions that I get to smell fresh lilacs, I am transported to my childhood in Grand Junction.

Thanks for putting this video together. I am born and raised in Grand Junction Colorado. You got some good spots on the list.

I also recommend Orvis hot springs outside of Ouray, if you’re into Clothing optional places. You can add strawberry Hot Springs outside of steamboat as well.

And finally if you’re on the front range Evergreen and Morrison are two very cool little towns just outside of Denver.

As a Colorado local, thanks for this video. I don’t get the whole ‘keep everyone out of our state’ argument. Colorado economy is doing very well largely due to transplants and tourists.

It would be a service to mention that a big problem in many parts of southwestern Colorado we are experiencing drought. That makes water a serious issue, so if anyone wants to move here they should be aware.

You keep doing you man, every video I see you do people comment on how you should stop posting videos like this but honestly, no one is entitled to any land. Except Natives of the land. People will always travel and visit new places, otherwise we would never have made it to the Americas in general. These videos are great, thanks for posting.
