Vector Visualization

In this talk, MinHsuan Peng will look into our newly tuned-up VectorPlot and StreamPlot functions, as well as their list version families and other derivatives, including the volume plot SliceVectorPlot3D. These functions got quite a bit of attention in recent release of Wolfram Language, with a few reinvented options and updated styles, to bring up them up to our standard of usability. In detail, we will talk about these new options to see how they work, as well as the new sampling methods for the vector points.

Vector aspect ratio seems to be a nice improvement to make magnitude perceptible (when using the length would produce intolerable superposition of the arrows). I wonder if it would be possible to mix methods, like make the length grow up to a certain value, then make the arrows thicker to represent further increase in magnitude.
