If I am to engage someone in a discussion about the effects of COVID-19 on the population; what information should I be using? What percentage of people have more serious effects than the flu? What. Percentage of people have scarring or severe effects from the virus? What percentage of people are requiring hospitalization? And what percentage of people are dying from COVID-19? And then I would need comparable statistics from last year‘s flu virus.

The closer the mask is to your mouth, the less effective it is at stopping what comes out of your mouth - that's why the gator mask, and the tight cloth masks do not work well.

The "vaping connection" is so WEAKSAUCE- I vape, & one thing is certain vaping is SOCIAL, WE ALL SHARE VAPES, UNCONSCIOUSLY, W/ each other, w/ the 'vape curious', w/ a comrade whose vape battery is dead... Speaking from experience, every flavor & every kit (=vape hardware) that I currently own/use today are the result of trying someone else's vape, & liking it.
So, when looking for a method of transmission, it's THE SHARING of Vapes, not vaping..
I've been mostly in seclusion, but I, myself have face planted on a few occasions where I was offered a vape to try & DID ACTUALLY TRY IT, (to my chagrin) completely UNCONSCIOUSLY...DOH!
& I'm an adult, but it's just vape culture....
So kids are sharing Vapes

Last week my nephew went to school
w/ a Yankees mask, but he came home from school
w/ a BATMAN mask, ("but Ma, I love Batman!!!" Aaaagh!)
& NOW
should he become infected
I would likewise NEVER DREAM of blaming
'the actual WEARING of the mask'
Instead, it would OBV be the result
of the SHARING of the mask'.
