One thing is the movie and another completely different thing will be the musical. It’s not a race, guys, calm down. Ewan is Christian in the movie and Aaron will be Christian for the play. And that’s about it.

To everyone who is questioning the genuineness and emotion of this performance, trust me you will change your mind when seeing this performed live. I just saw Moulin Rouge in Boston this past weekend and Aaron Tveit in this role was absolutely incredible. Aaron and Karen Olivo perform this song towards the beginning of act 2 and then after what happens at the end, (I don't want to spoil too much), Aaron then closes out the show singing this song by himself at the end of the runway with a single spot on him with ensemble voices accompanying him. It is GORGEOUS and there was not a single dry eye in the audience. I highly recommend seeing this show at the Colonial Theatre before it leaves Boston later this month.
