Or is it enough to power it to 12v to test the newly added display?

hello man, I would like to buy 3dmfddisplay (I found the place where to buy it on the facebook group) I would like to install it myself. I have a golf 4 half fis the same cluster as the one on the passat b5.5 in your video. My question is, for version 7.9, is the installation process the same as the one in the video or were there any changes? I thank you in advance
