My husband and I road the wine train on our honey moon, it was amazing.

Thank you for touring the valley on the wine train. I live there. You know they were going to extend the line to lake county a century ago but due to the interurban train wreck in June 19, 1913 they didn't get the chance. They lost $1 million dollars and never recovered from it. They use to call it the San Francisco, Napa & Calistoga Railway (SFN&CR but now it is called the Napa Valley Railroad (NVRR)

I live here and have never taken the train before $250 and you only get one glass?? Come on. They need to do a pairing where you get a glass of whatever goes with your meal. I may live here but I don’t know anything about wine, I just know what I like. If they did a pairing that would be a great way to educate people about wine.

I’ve been on the wine train. While you featured the food, there was no critiquing of the food (mmm...yum is not even a passing grade) and you didn’t capture the beautiful setting and fun the train offers. I give this episode 2 out of 5.

I’m so torn, I’m planning a trip and the train looks so romantic but it’s so expensive. I don’t if it’s really worth it. Only one glass for $285 😱

I hope you enjoyed riding on that former Norfolk Southern, former Southern Railway GP40-2 high hood. These locomotives have basically been shunted away and forgotten about on most railroads
