Dak, I took about a 6 month break from Fallout 4, and when I started picking out mods for a new playthrough yesterday, I noticed you have taken over the game like 2005-era 50 Cent. It's insane. I'm proud of you.

As cool as the monorail is, I kind of wish it was something that wasn't immediately available. I think it would be neat if both stations required repairs, along with the rail itself. When it comes to the rail damage, perhaps it'd have gaps that are just short enough that the player could jump them (allowing you to "walk" it in the meantime).

The lightning gun here looks like it was inspired by one of the Adam Adamowicz Fallout 3 concept art works for the plasma rifle, which is awesome. Always cool to see modders looking at past art for inspiration.

The other good thing about the monorail is Mutant Menagerie makes swimming a lively experience so not being savaged by passing ghoul sharks on my way there is nice.

I dont know about others but my weapon mods are all Dak's mods. I dont like too much modern or tactical stuff in my gameplay. Thank you Dak for making all these wonderful mods.

Honestly the monorail mod is also good if you have Mutant Menagerie installed as well. Don't have to worry about getting eaten by the sharks or piranhas that infest the ocean.

I'm going to do a playthrough with all the 12.7/crusader pistol mods and when I empty the magazine of one I just switch to another.

After seeing "Monorail To Spectacle Island" mod I thought to myself, maybe a tunnel to Spectacle Island? both the player and the caravans could use such route.

Shame there's not some sort of flying vehicle that you can use to reach Spectacle Island in vanilla survival. Maybe something that can take off and land vertically. Something vaguely bird shaped? What a real shame.

I love how modders are basically hard-carrying Bethesda with mods in Fallout 4. I also love how modders are keeping Fallout New Vegas fresh even though it was well made and replayable from the start.

I think a cable ferry to Spectacle Island makes heaps more sense than a monorail. A monorail needs us to assume it was built pre-war for no apparent reason, it would require maintenance, and it's very conspicuous. Whereas a cable ferry is a simple enough concept that you could make it post-war, at least with the kind of wizard building powers the sole survivor has.

Looks like they upscaled the gondola to do the monorail. Pretty sweet. Wonder if anyone will make a patch for the pirate outfit and the CSEP bounty hunter mod. For the mark that tried to glue a seagul to his shoulder.

something i would like to see with those mods than add a way to get into spectacle island is attacks of mirelurk queens and kings, and maybe even a kraken than attacks right in the middle of the sea

Place Anywhere and just build a Bridge from the Castle to Spectacle Island done. Not really all that hard just slightly Time Consuming, and you save Mod Space. Though the Mod is pretty nice, the version on XB makes it into a Settlement Workshop Building Item so you can build a Monorail in any Settlement.

Alternatively, you could always use the BoS vertibird grenades to get to and from the Island.

Lightning Plasma Gun sounds i=like an interesting cross between the Automatron Tesla Rifle and the CC Quake Thunderbolt
