For anyone using the Gunner Armor Expansion I'd highly recommend mixing it with the Combine-Like Gunner Voices mod and downloading the loose version. It adds a radio static sound change to all their voices, mixing better with the new masks they'll get covering their faces. They'll truly stand out now rather than sounding like tougher Raiders and this mod even changes Gunner Holotapes too.

I'm really missing "Previsibines Repair Pack (PRP) Stable Branch" here when talking about performance, because this Mod is just a Must have i didn't know for a long time sadly.

Also you could Mention Guides like "Smoothout" or "Performance Optimization Guide" which not only offer good Guides for Performance, but also a much more stable Game.

I've always wanted to use tree mods for Fallout 4, but never had the hardware to support it. Finally think I can do it with these mods. Hopefully it'll work on Steam Deck.

Just putting a plea here for more setting friendly weapon and armor mods--I'm sure the modern stuff is popular, but it's pretty dissonant with the established aesthetics. You looked at The Charger Pistol once, and I think that's far more creative and in-line with the established universe aesthetic than the Modern Warfare rips. The Select series (which I think you covered as well) is also really good for its immersion factor. The guns feel like they belong in Fallout's "mad science" world.

EDIT: To expand on this a bit, Fallout's aesthetic and universe can and should be described as "retro-future." A modern M16 doesn't fit that criteria because it is--well--modern. Seeing something in Fallout that would be at home on a modern, real world battlefield shatters the illusion it carefully crafts.

Im super blown away with the Upscaler mod. I was genuinely skeptical when you said you were getting smooth frame rates in downtown boston modded playthrough. Put it in my heavily modded and am getting 90fps with a few drops here and there. Honestly life changing! I was already using shadow boost and high fps fix, so this was really the cherry on top for that!

EDIT: It helps if I set the correct Upscaler settings. Once I had it correctly set to FSR2, my performance was even better. Pretty great!

I personally really enjoy the original raider power armor aesthetic, mostly the powerful look of the the cage that goes around the front.

I play with 300+ mods on 2060 RTX and get 100-80 fps outside with many trees and grass mods. 150-170fps indoors with lighting mods aswell

Sims settlement's will always be THE MOD for this game because it saves it from it's self destructive writing which Bethesda created.

Are there any mods that cause NPCs to react to you differently based upon how you're dressed - I mean, if you're wearing full combat armor with a mask and such, they should react differently than if you're wearing rags...

Good to see _A Forest_ was put back up on Nexus, it was taken down for a time. IMO it's by far the best mod for FO4 if you want a nature reclaiming the commonwealth feel to your game.

Chems, stim packs ect... any animation during combat will get you caught up & killed. But, it is more immersive that way. In my playthroughs those animations never showed up if I was in power armor. I'm guessing the mod will
