The soul he gives when he sings hasn't changed a bit since the first day he joined the band

And the crowd goes wild! You know why? Because Arnel is fantastic. He's not Steve. He's Arnel. And Journey is alive BECAUSE of him!

What would be really awesome is if Arnel and Steve sang that song together. Imagine the vocals combined. Thinking about is already giving me the chills.

I can't understand why the show's Director/Producer didn't have Steve and Arnel share the stage? Ever heard of a duo? That would have been most amazing to hear, to watch and emotionally satisfying to fans of both the old and new Journey. Display a symbolic passing of the torch. Or more accurately "the microphone" so to speak.

Worked with Arnel and he was the total professional gentleman…almost in an Elvis kind of way….anyway, his ability rivals any singer..even Perry’s…but his endurance is astounding and greater than any other singer with that rage over have witnessed….and yes, Journey and their fans owe to him that he is the rhyme and reason that band has been in our consciousness since they stopped working when Perry left….thank you Arnel!
Your sound man in Macau..

I've followed Arnel from day 1 and he's amazing but I think the songs have been taking a.toll on his voice. I think people don't realize he's been singing them for longer than he's been in the band. He performed them in the Philippines

Give credit where its due. Arnel saved journey from being a forgotten band without perry. Arnel is around 50 by this time and a 50 yrs old perry cannot sing good at this age. Give arnel his credit since he joined journey. Lets accept the fact that he made journey famous again.

The bass of Ross Vallory is is booming in this song. What a band what a song. I'm 60 and I feel like I'm back in high school again. Arnel is amazing. One of the best bands in Rock and roll history for sure.

Everyone wanted to see and hear Steve Perry sing with the group if only for this one moment.

I just like their music period. In years to come, when the members are dead, I will still like the music no matter who is playing the instruments or singing the songs. The song brings back memories - not the band back then or today. Just happy that there was a band back then and a band today to play these songs... and hopefully a band in the future.
