I am a professor of American culture and a musician, and I have watched from Istanbul my fave auditions over and over again, and I still say Mr. Goodall must win because he is the only one who truly proves that the American Dream of Success is still alive, no matter what. He deserves it with his voice, for his modesty, for his kids, and having a dream to sing, because he loves singing. America must give him the chance to sing throughout the rest of his life to compensate for the 55 years he couldn't. He is already the champion of our hearts.

They were screaming and crying tears of happiness for Mr. Richard last night with their friends, I was right there with them, as was the entire Vigo County community! We are SO excited for him! It couldn’t happen for a more humble and kind man, he is so deserving of this. Can’t wait for America to see what we Hautian peeps have had the pleasure of seeing for two decades.
