Ive grown up and live in washington and the natural beauty here still amazes me… not saying the western rain is for everyone (to live with) but if you like nature and forests you will love to visit. I suggest the coastal peninsula, it is incredibly breathtaking. ..

As someone who lived in Olympia, I really miss the beauty of the state. I would play baseball and after every game, I would walk to my dads truck, I look to my left, and I will never forget the beauty of Mt. Ranier in the distance, with a sunset behind the mountain it was so beautiful, and I moved in July, and I remember my last game of baseball ever, I stared at Mt. Ranier for at least a minute with me sobbing, I didn’t want to leave. I miss everything about the state, except the rain

I am making this exact move from San Diego California. I want to start over and fresh with just me and my 7 year old daughter. I am a bit afraid of "Change" but something keeps bringing me to videos like this about SEATTLE! you closed the deal for me, thank you!

I have known from a young age that I wanted to be in the PNW. I mean it was instinct. Finally visited Washington when I was 31 and I have thought about it everyday since. Finally making the moves to make it happen.

I’m from Washington originally and moved 7 years ago for work (currently in STL). I’m moving back on two months and I can’t fucking wait. 🙏🏼

I moved to Pierce County in 1980, after a 2 week visit and regret nothing.
Living inside a picture postcard will give you a sore neck from whipping your head around looking at everything. It's worth it!

I lived in Vancouver for a few years, got tired of stepping over junkies and potential dead bodies outside my office building.
Moved back to GA.
That said, I visited the area a few weeks ago and it was vastly better after they stopped allowing the homeless people to set up a campsite wherever they wanted to etc.

Same . My husband came out here and flew me and the kids out . Went back home to Cali, and in two weeks we moved to Pierce county . This was 4 years ago and I agree it was the best thing we ever did! I absolutely LOVE it here!!!❤

After growing up in the desert of So Cal then moving there for 14.5 years and just having to leave due to military, I think I have some ptsd from all the gray and rain. It was really rough going from 350 days of sunshine to 137 partial days on probably half of that number. Beautiful state and I miss the beauty and my view of Rainier 3 minutes from our home but I need sunshine.

Man God bless you and your family, I’m looking to move there but I’m broke as hell so I’ve got some saving to do lol😂

We did practically the same thing. Took a week vacation to orcas island in August, then went back home to Texas and started making plans, quit my good job at ExxonMobil, sold two houses, bought a travel trailer and hauled the family up here and landed in Puyallup. That was in 2018 and we don’t regret it at all. We DO miss the lower prices and sometimes the warmth from back home but that’s all.

Washington's a beautiful place I currently live in Oregon but if I circumstances ever allow it I'll probably move back to the Thurston county area provided haven't gone to crap since last time I lived there several years ago

I love Washington. I lived there back in 2021 and I'm moving back the end of this year.

I am so glad for you that this worked out for you---but I live in St. Louis and recently visited relatives in Seattle and I can't imagine living there. There are lots of things I don't like in Washington. I grew up in Los Angeles.
