Thanks for sharing. Do you know a way you can test the wires to figure out which ones, on other models and years? Since they don't all have the same color wires. Somebody said one is a ground and one is a signal to the ECU, but how to know?

Hello, what cables do I have to splice together for my 2007 Lexus ES? I did dark blue and orange, and no luck.

Question. Why can't I just cut those 2 wires, tape them at the ends so they don't connect? Or connect a terminal lead to one end crimped, and not connect the other? Is it the same as your doing?

Is it from pin 5 and 7 on the tpms receiver

I have a 2012 rav4. In my vehicle the tpms module is right behind the glove compartment. I was afraid the splice might cut through both wires, so I inserted a wire into the back of the plug to connect the pink and red wires. One end on the pink wire, and the other on the black wire. Stranded copper wire isn’t stiff enough to push in, so I used a short piece of small single strand wire. It had enough stiffness to be pushed in next to the pink and red wires on the back of the plug. Worked like a champ…the light is gone.

Thanks much. It works on my 2009 4cyl RAV4. I see you borrow the white wire (red in my RAV4) to power the pink wire (pink in my RAV4 also). Just curious, what stuff is usually powered by that white wire?

The splice you used don’t look like the ones in the link. Are those the correct ones in the link?

My TPMS module is behind the glove box on a 3rd gen Prius. Do you know which two wires to splice together on that one?
