Old tech is still tech and has to be learned. There are a lot of gadgets people used a hundred years ago that would baffle us now. We really aren't as smart as we think we are.

My first job, I went to AT&T to purchase the 25 ft pink phone 📞 line to go with the phone mounted on the wall in the kitchen! So I could talk in my room…never stopped my mom from picking up that other line to say, “get off the phone! I’m waiting on a call!” 😂😂😂😊

I used to love pranking my mom by dialing our number on our phone then hanging up. "Ring ring!!" She fell for it everytime. Luv you mom!

LOL, remember being impatient as the dialed number had to go back to zero before dialing the next number, and ready to pass out. You're son's impression of the artifact of our day is priceless. LOL! ( and I'd use that and a land line again).

Remember the party lines? We went allowed to use the phone to talk with friends. If we wanted to talk to them we had to go to their house or wait until we got to school, we could only use the phone for emergencies. I also remember sitting under the phone wires at the end of my grandma's street , early in the morning, and listening to the old ladies talk.

Lol. My grandmother had phones like that. Get this, I work for the government. We had phones like this, the ones with buttons, a black one and tan one. We had no caller ID. Screening calls is let it go to voicemail and then listening to it. We had them up to 2013 when we got up to date ones. I have to find my picture of it because people didn’t believe me when I told them. 😂😂😂
