I don't think that's a fair assessment, those that want a Unix based OS might prefer Mac over Windows for example. A lot of programmers I know choose Macs for that reason, it has built-in PHP and Apache functionality.

I have always used a "Speck" case to protect my laptops. My late 2007 MacBook looks brand new.

The viewing angles aren't that great and I would rate the Mac better yes, I don't think I'd call the VAIO S 13 screen "crap" though.

Send me a VAIO Z and I'll compare that to the MacBook Air, would love to get ahold of the Z. Agree it's a sweet machine. Pricey though.

i am probebly saw only 2-3 laptops other than mac than can be opened like that, for people that are not used to open with one hand this might be a funny criteria but once you got use to it is a must have think

i think you got it mix up there, the Chevy should be the Air and Mercedes should be the Sony since the Sony is better design and have more horsepower.
