▬▬ ABOUT MY CHANNEL ▬▬

👋 My name is Ryan & at age 30 I quit my day job. I used to work full time as a Sr. Front End Web Developer (I quit this job), & part-time as an adjunct professor teaching web development at a local university (I kept this job — I like teaching!). Both of my day jobs were awesome! But that couldn't change the fact that I'm completely addicted to the idea of building passive income streams that will allow me to retire from ever working a 9 to 5 job again.

The information shared on my YouTube channel & resources made available is for educational, informational purposes.

Ryan thank you for all your videos you are one of the best and most honest I have seen in this space in my opinion.

Yes i agree, start with the free pod sites to get the ball rolling and if you've got a niche that sells well or you want to build a brand around it you could slowly start building your own store with it. That's what i'm doing anyways.

You're a good teacher. Been in web design, marketing etc for years and don't miss client projects at all. Designing sites for clients, and working with clients period, is a painful process. It's not scalable and stressful, which is why I'm switching to pod, my own brands, affiliate, etc.. Scalable and less headaches.

Can`t tell you how many Shopify/Printful stores I click on from facebook ads that lead to a store that features no designs other than brand logo, plastered all over 1 of each product. The low barrier to entry combined with people selling you on how easy it is leads people to make stores like this. I see at least 5 a day. They all look like the Coca-Cola gift shop. They went right for Shopify without knowing anything about ads, or POD really. I met a guy last week who had spent so long obsessing over starting a business and not acting, that by the time he got around to opening his god awful Shopify store, the only idea he had for a design was a shirt that said "Support Small Business" lol somebody needs to stop these people

I think the other big platform builder you are thinking of besides Shopify and Woocommerce is BigCommerce.

Hey Ryan. Great videos. Can you do one on shipping rates and how to best capitalize on the best shipping rates while offering free shipping. Thank you for your content.

But you need a website to send customers to Amazon. I have many aged domains but I chose to use a brand new one for my T shirt biz

So the other paid traffic methods are Instagram and FB ads which is another game and not easy either.

With the 3-6 week production time on apparel, do you feel this is an indicator of a saturated market?

Just subscribed this week! I just started on Teespring and had quality issues with samples ordered. Order comfort tees, but 2 were boxy and had to be classic fit. I don't want upset clients if I can't trust what is being delivered. What are your thoughts about them, I am planning on uploading to Redbubble as well. thx!

Fuck organic at the beginning, you can spend 3 months without a sale if you don't spend atleast $1 on etsy / day to bump your items up to page 1... what you said is right, even if you make an incredible design for dirt cheap, if you don't let people know you're there, they won't find you. Just invest a little on etsy (a little = $1 per day pretty much) with the aim of having people just visiting your product and some people will see the "more of" items you're selling, so it's a great and cheap way to do it.

If you just go organic, sure it will work sooner or later if you do it right, if you have the patience to wait... and actually know what you're doing with SEO, which honestly, most don't.

So, in all my research so far I keep seeing people say to not use Redbubble because when they see that you're selling something well, they'll close you down and take your art and sell it themselves. Any truth to this in anyone's knowledge here? I've already started a Shopify store that I'm getting ready to launch but I'm a bit worried about the highly saturated market competition.

I have read in a forum somewhere or in a commercial complaint website cause tha info i guess wasn't given to me properly as i signed up, that sunfrog appropriateS the money of your sales if you do not reach the Us$ 50 dollars threeshold in a year. Do you know if thats true? Cause if it is, its the shadiest thing i've evr will realise about POD websites dispiting the fact that i'm makin 1 sale every 1.000 visits on the same products i make 1 sale every 40 visits on other POD websites. Thanks for your honesty on your vids.
