Honestly so thrilled so see Tom giving some love to Modern Art. I got an old printing of the game from a coworker who was doing some spring cleaning a few years ago, and I was stunned by how clever and devious it is.
Might have to buy a copy of the newer printing so I don't have to try and convince people that the older, less visually appealing art is actually part of an incredible game

I work in a board game store and the games Ava mentioned is what I recommend so often. Casual board gamers far outnumber hobbyist board gamers.

Weird that Thousand Year Old Vampire got so much camera time but no actual description. It's a great game, if anyone is interested! SU&SD's standalone review is great

"Patchwork" was the first "hey board games can actually be fun and interesting" board game I got after watching many SU&SD videos, because my roommate is a quilter. We both quite enjoy it, and it also got me on the path to many others, like Suburbia, Blueprints, Flamme Rouge, even Mice and Mystics.

I'll also stress that both of these games have PDF Community Copies available, that means they're free for anyone hard up, marginalised, or even just curious about solo RPGs and unsure if they want to spend.
