During the peak of WW-II my grandfather served in the Assam Regiment and had its Baptisms of fire and retired as a Lance Naik… co-incidentally my daddy served in the 1st Naga however attained his martyrdom during the Kargil..
Today I am proudly serving under the Indian military keeping the family legacy alive.. I believe my sons and the grandchildren would be able to carry on the torch.

My utmost respect to all the heroes of this nation serving in different frontlines, Love from a sincere Naga jawan ..

Indian men scaling those heights at 16000 feet on to those Rocky terrain exposed to non-stop machine gun firing with no food & water and a heavy back pack of ammunition requires extreme fitness and mental strength. Meanwhile, those Pakistanis hiding & firing from their concrete Bunkers with availablity food, ammunition and multiple men taking turns to fire and still they up losing the battle...

That officer, perhaps from the Northeast, was really well spoken. The way he put into words the sacrifice and duty of a soldier, and the profound impact on the families who lose a son, father, husband, or brother, was really touching. It broke my heart when he said how, over time, people tend to forget the soldiers who gave their lives for the nation, while the families continue to bear the pain forever. I wholeheartedly agree with him that our nation must rise to honor these bravehearts and stand by their families. This is the least we can do for those who have given everything for our country. My deepest respect and love go out to our officers and their men who fought valiantly in that war to secure the safety and sovereignty of our country. What they have done for our nation is invaluable and can never be fully repaid!
