The Prophet 5 is one of the most iconic synths of all time.

We had the pleasure of deep-sampling the last production unit ever made (Dave Smith's personal keyboard) - and sampled every single preset in the unit.

The Last Prophet 5 is specifically designed for the Prophet X and XL - and offers you all the original presets and 16 custom presets.

I’m new to this deep sampling concept, but is it possible to load a prophet 5 sample and simply turn the knobs as if it were a prophet 5? So In other words, Can this be a prophet 5 with this deep sampling and I would be able to turn all the knobs and turn everything down or off and just have 1 saw wave and it would be very identical to a prophet 5 saw wave ? How does the filter sound/work like a prophet 5? I’m very interested to know more about how this keyboard works. Also would if this is the case that the prophet X with the prophet 5 deep sampling is capable of being a prophet 5 what does that mean for the envelopes ? Are they the same ? The same speed and curves ? What about all the LFOs? Basically to what extent can this become a true 1:1 prophet 5?

When you say “Last”, do you mean last as in the last version made! Rev.3? Or last as in enough of the Prophet 5 already! This is it!;)

One last thing. This might be a question for Dave. But the synth engine...Prophet 12 or Rev2? Or neither?

I own a Prophet 5 rev 3.3 ( same as Dave Smith ) These samples do not sound anything like an original Prophet 5 !!!

Beautiful sounds! But it resembles nothing the Prophet 5.
