HOW TO SAFELY PICK UP YOUR BUNNY RABBIT

Note: There is more than one way to carry a rabbit, depending on your bunny’s size and temperament. The way you carry them can be unique to you and your rabbit, but the main principle stays the same; to always support their bottom and place them with all four feet on your body so that they feel most secure.

It takes a lot of time and patience; some rabbits accept it quickly, and some take a long time, or maybe never. Every rabbit is different. You have to respect your rabbit’s boundaries as prey species. If they don’t want to be touched or picked up, don’t run after them and don’t force them. The more you respect them and bond with them, the more they will trust you and the easier it will become to pick them up.

My rabbit is only just now letting me and my hubby pick him up so he can be put away after play time we carry him in this way too because it keeps him calm awhile we transfer him from floor to his house lol. Great video very informative blanconis a very good bunbun

Hey I know this was a long time ago but I want to pick my rabbits up so it can have time on grass but it doesn’t really like being stroked unless they r in the mood so they normally just run away even from stroking what should I do
