Fittings for oil cooler here

After seeing so many review videos on the "Twins", I've decided to do a REAL "Long-Term" review, as well as provide some great pointers for anybody who may be in the market for getting a used BRZ, FRS, or GT86. Tips on what to look for when purchasing them, and recommended basic modifications. With the used market for these cars becoming greater and greater each year, you really need to know what to look for! AND, as someone who's owned the car since the very first couple years they were released.. I've seen a lot of failures, been around the "86 community".. and have debunked a few "myths" that have circled around over the years.

The red car is a good friend of mine, Who also purchased his around the same time as myself. In the coming videos, I will be installing a turbo kit into the FRS and eventually my own BRZ, which I'm working on as I write this. So Follow along because there is much more fun to be had with these cars!

Track: "Drench", Shryne

I recently got a 2013 BRZ with 63k miles with a Subaru 60k inspection from a dealership. It's so much fun as a daily driver. Love that it's basically a 90's car with bluetooth and a push to start

Not a proud moment in my life but I rolled my 2015 brz .. but I gotta say that car saved my life! very safe in the unfortunate event of crashing . With that being said I still want another which will happen soon
I got a lot more respect for this car now ✌🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼

Great review of the car. I have a 2013 Frs that I bought used in 2017. Originally bought it to daily and just simply refused to buy a Prius. Did not intend on modifying the car at all, but little by little I have a few things done. And I think we sometimes take for granted the aftermarket support you have and how easy they are to work on and make your own. Currently doing a little overhaul on mine and plan to keep in for a long time. They are great cars and doesn’t break the bank as much as some other vehicles out there. So pretty happy with that as well. Cheers! Thanks for posting.

Great video. Your head is so in the right space. Much respect. I have an 860 orange and it’s special to me and likely my only car forever. Slow and tasteful is the way to go with modding these. People say these are a good first sports car but they don’t always recognize that these can grow with you and you can build them up to basically be Porsche levels of performance. 👍🏻

My 2016 has 130k miles right now. Bought it new and still plan on keeping it until at least 200k miles.

I just got a 13 in great condition, well maintained at 63k miles. I walk and ride my bike most places, but now I've got an incentive to go a little further to get groceries and run errands

I like your mindset about twins and about turbo also. Will wait for next episodes. Peace

2017 with 106k kms (70k miles) owned from new. Replaced nothing except on my 3rd set of tyres (they burn through tyres a lot), replaced original brakes at 100k kms and 3 batteries. Servicing is as cheap as an econobox. Drives like the day I bought it, interior does suck though with the dashboard starting to separate from the hvac vents due to heat expansion but thats a universal Subaru thing. Im keeping mine until the wheels fall off.

My 2015 still runs like new at 85K and I really enjoy driving it. I have thought of replacing it OR adding a turbo. The former is why replace a perfectly working car. The later, turbo, scares me on the length of ownership - and I have only minor thoughts on tracking racing.

if i had the money for it i'll buy either car, throw some tints on it, a widebody kit, engine swap it, upgrade the radio, add a backup camera, cold air intake, coil spring suspension, wheels and brakes as far as upgraded braking performance and driving fun. overall great video and nice cars but respectfully i'll go with the above mentioned to alleviate the common issues with the motor

Never owned a Subaru, so I'll get the BRZ bc I already had Toyota cars. Subaru will be next in my list. Next after that will be a Jaguar coupe or a Benz coupe 🎉

Very cool, man. I’ve always liked these cars since they’re small and light, but still RWD.

I installed a dash mat so I do not have to look at the "little thing" popping up. Yes, mine does that too. They probably all do.

19:15 Dang, I'm not quite 50 years old, but I feel like I got called out. Listening to this while I'm waxing my '97 White Kouki in the garage 😅

Like this review. I'm looking for one currently as I want a car that's fairly modern but without rubbish tech that's going to spoil my enjoyment.l
Modern in the context that I currently drive a 2001 ALFA V6 😂
