so ballparking it, how many calories do you figure you eat in a given day?  that doesn't seem like much food, especially with the training load of a triathlete.  what macros % do you shoot for?  seems big time heavy on the carb side

Sometimes I train 12 hours straight, bike about 90miles and run 20miles. I eat about 10 energy bar and about 7 Gu energy gel and drink protein shake, electrolytes mix. And I feel myself unhealthy consumption for nutrition...I need big basket in my triathlon bike to carry fruits, bread, and soy milk.

Taren, you did not mentioned how many water you are drinking during the day. How important is to drink enough water during the days and how many water is enough?

I found that wild diet and primal blueprint are good primers. I will warn you they can get very nerdy in spots.

They are what you eat. After not eating meat/eggs/dairy for a few months I found out I don't miss it at all and when I cave and have some meat I feel like garbage because my microbiome doesn't know what to do with it.

I hate to be that guy (especially because I’m a huge advocate of a plant-based diet). But how do you get enough of protein in a day?! It seems like most of the things you eat are rich in carbohydrates, but lower in fats and especially protein
