Coronavirus UK: NHS Test and Trace failing to reach a third of COVID-19 cases

The NHS Test and Trace service is failing to reach 30% of people who test positive for COVID-19 in England.

A contact tracer told Sky News that there are no translation services available - despite the government's claims - which makes it hard to reach people for whom English is not a first language.

Statistics from the government show that the number of people successfully contacted has dropped since last week.

The burning question is how many people do other track and trace systems in the World reach? Ones that aren't mandatory. I bet our statistics are good in comparison.

Complaining that translation services aren't available. That's a pretty complex problem. The UK doesnt claim to be a 5 star concierge service. If Bangladeshi women that live here cannot speak English to save their lives it says something about that community. To be practical about it.
