A man in Butler Pennsylvania spent 31 days in jail based off the false testimony of a young female because she thought he looked creepy. Her senile grandma threw a lighter at this girl and she had a fat lip. This female then picked a guy at the grocery store and said he pulled her pants down and punched her in the face. They track down his license plate arrest him at his house and only a month later review the camera footage from the grocery store. They question the girl and say it isn't adding up and she admitted she lied because he deserves to be punished for looking ugly and creepy.

When I was a cop, the state law changed to a requirement that if there was any physical evidence, then the police must make a physical arrest. I don't know if it is true today.

It is is not what the witness says, but it is what the jury believes. If the jury believes the lying police officer ( or lay witness), you will be convicted.

I keep my life as clean as I can, so if I'm ever convicted of a crime, I'm probably innocent. There are so many laws, it's tough not to break a law.

I can't think of more than a handful of things we can do without the danger of committing either committing a crime or requiring government permission (for example) to act or not act.

Unless any woman anytime accuses a man of anything no matter how many decades have passed, no matter there is no evidence.
Other than that, the laws are fair.
