I got a 2 yr old, this shyt makes me sick, I never let my son out of my sight, it takes a split second for tragedy to happen especially in a pool.

What parent leaves their toddler in a pool alone, especially with out a life jacket or something to help them float? I hope the parents were charged with neglect. I'm just happy that he survived.

I will never understand how people bring their kids, who can’t swim, to a pool with no floats or supervision.

I have a 2 year old and can assure you I'd never in a million years have her swimming without some sort of PFD. That and would literally be holding her and keeping an eye on her non stop. This is bad parenting and luckily the child is ok

That child that alerted for help, deserves recognition. The nurses ( I'm one ) we just do our duty, without hesitation. They deserve to b recognized too . God Bless them all. Drownings can happen without anyone noticing. Kudos to the kid for being observant!

I go swimming every year in a public pool, in my hometown. I have saved three separate children from drowning. Parents do not watch their children in the swimming pools. It is very scary.

I know how it feels. I was saved from drowning by a parent. I was in elementary school back then. It was our first swimming lesson. Few parents came to volunteer and help our coach with our first swimming lesson. I am in the 50s now, but will never forget the fear and the woman who rescued me.

I brought my son swimming all the time when he was 2 and never even let him go from my hand! Crazy!

Jail the parents or whoever was supposed to be taking care of this kid and strip them of the ability to ever have a child in their possession ever again.

People drowning often don't have strength to shout, it can be very silent. Well done the boy who noticed.

Drowning is silent it’s very scary how easy it it for someone to drown unnoticed. I’m glad he’s okay

Where’s the childs carer? How did he wander off like that. He was already ‘half drowned’ when he was floating around on the surface, goodnesses knows how long he was actually unconscious for before he sank. I hope the little guy isn’t brain damaged from this 🥺

I really don’t understand how a toddler went unnoticed in a swimming pool for almost 3 minutes.

It is shocking and disturbing that so many can be in a pool and not notice a drowning child. As a parent I not only kept an eye on my child but all children around the area. WTH?! I would hope at least the parent/s were charged.

It tells you more of the story. He was under for 4 minutes, his mom was there clueless as to anything going on, and cop at the end has more of a message than just "be aware" the family is under investigation after this incident. How can this reporter say this video is to remind people how "FAST" a drowning can occur? 4 MINUTES!!! I can't look away from my 2 year old for literally 5 seconds in a public place without him making a run for it.

Good semaritains?! All those people and no one sees yet get credit for saving him? How does he not have brain or lung damage and released the same day? That is truly a miracle! No thanks to his awful mother not within an arms reach. Shame on you!
