Would you please consider doing a video on improving seo for an industry that is highly regulated?! Our business is a smoke /vape/cbd and it is frowned upon. We cannot advertise cigarettes, vapes, smoking, cbd, we cannot on newsprint, radio, tv, no where….so listing on Google maps is best allowed but even at that, it has to be primarily aimed at name and location. I know that society as a whole does not support this industry but there is a need / a niche and there is a customer base. How do we reach those customers? Any suggestions much appreciated.

So I did that and it happens that now looking at my geogrid thing, I'm much worse off than I was before ... Any idea why by adding services and secondary categories, the listing went down in the map searches ? For some it only went down by 1 spot but others went from let's say 4 to 12 or even worse 20+.

My main business category isn't listed on Google. Problem #1 Problem #2 I have a service business that mostly caters to a higher clientele in a specific area different from where I live. Google Maps is treating my business like a restaurant with a specific location.

Created a new profile a week ago... using an a virtual address right in the middle of London. The same address has been on my website for yrs.
All was fine for 24 hrs. Then I git a suspension.
Removed map listing (I'm a service provider) and appeal against suspension. Got reinstated the next day
Only problem ...my Google profile being a service business without a publicly viewable address (ie ...my profile no longer displays a map)...my impressions have tanked from 20 and a couple of clicks... to zilch and no clicks. Which I put down to having no map address.
This sound about right ?

I thought that the more categories, the more the profile is competing with other companies in other categories. So does this mean that I can add as much as possible (that still makes sense to the profile), without fear of it disrupting the profile?

I have a custom tool that writes the services. mix and match them with cities near you for optimal effect. some clients I have about 2k services listed in the maps, and its legit as they offer that service in that city take an Hvac guy for instance, boiler heater repair boston, boiler heater servicing boston, etc.
