Hello, I recently subbed. You deserve loads of subscribers for this content. Nicely presented, no ego, professional but with humility. Lydian is my absolute favorite of the church modes too!

A beautiful sound, works well with a little chorus.

Hello! Crystal clear. Besides your obvious musician talents, you really have this ability to present musical concepts quite clearly and eloquently. THANK YOU!

Nice musical progression. I will work on this concept and go through a few of your other videos again.

Great lesson Dan! I'm new to this concept, but it seems you are using relative modes to put less emphasis on the tonic, and get away from the "jump to the root" behavior. I know how to find a major chord's relative minor (by going up to the 6th degree), but how do you know which modes are relative? Searched google for about 10 minutes and couldn't find a satisfactory answer.
