Hearing/seeing Eli get more of a spotlight makes me SO HAPPY. Ive always been a massive fan of his voice and now thrilled to see other people notice it too. They are all amazing and incredible but Eli has that #1 spot for my ears.

I truly think Hoist the Colours was the turning point for Eli. Not that he didn't have this in him already or bring it out (in small doses) before then, but he wasn't even supposed to be lead on that song. It was just through happenstance that he took lead, murdered that part (in the best way possible), and I think Geoff and Layne and their arranger brains started thinking....hmmm maybe we should take advantage of this amazing aspect of Eli's talent and let him rock out more often. And he has been going off lately, and I'm loving every moment of it. 😆🤘🏻

I've noticed with all the guys, but especially Eli that his hand movements appear to help emit the energy he's generating with his singing. Especially the Valhalla Calling, the last phrase, it looks like he's shooting energy from his hands, LOL. I would like to know if that is just their acting in the video or if their gestures help emit their energy when they sing.
