Water Damage Insurance Claims. Public Adjuster shares why insurance companies won't pay.

Water damage claims are getting increasingly difficult in Florida. Insurance companies continue to restrict their policies when it comes to water damage.

Florida is the #1 state in the USA for water damage and water damage claims.

We see water damage in almost every type of claim in Florida. Whether you have damage from :
-Storms
-Hurricanes
-Fires
-Roof Leaks
-Pipe Breaks
-Lightning

We can help even if the insurance company has denied your water damage claim or if they underpaid your water damage claim.

In this video we discuss

*Language in your policy
*Lawsuit example
*The 14 day rule (if water damage from leeks happened over 14 days ago, insurance company may
deny your claim)
*How over the years, insurance companies have changed their policy language to restrict their obligation to cover water damage claims

I have used a "loophole" to this 14 day rule for a few years so don't get upset if you feel as if there nothing you can do.

I own a condo in Illinois. My flooring got water damaged due to common element spigot outside the building. My insurance paid for removal of flooring. Per my insurance, the HOA has to give me a denial letter for them (my insurance) to proceed with payment of installation of flooring. The HOA does not want to give me that letter. What to do?

It sounds to me like mold due to atmospheric humidity is NOT covered, but mold due to water damage IS covered. Due to humidity down south, I can get that.

I got one going with the insurance company and the HOA they are just tossing it back and forth between the two leaving the home owner with torn open walls 60° Temps in Minnesota winter. This homeowner had just purchased the town home 7 month ago so there are alot of arms all going different directions! I have been in the business for a long time never dealt with this type situation! Any advice or help

FTH here When you file a claim does it affect any other numbers such as value of home or deductible? Similar to when you file a claim with car insurance?
My sump pump isn’t doing what it should Pros say nothing wrong with it but water is literally pouring out of my wall in basement from heavy rain we just had. My policy states WD is excluded but being it’s the sump not pumping water would that fall under appliances which caused WD? Therefore if the SP operated correctly I wouldn’t have this problem. TYSM for for this video btw! Extremely informative and helpful

Is it because the damage that occurs in the first 14 days should be covered?
