It's a blessing how God gave man the knowledge to do the amazing things they do. Being able to see is a wonderful thing. God bless you and speedy recovery. Your husband was great helping you.

You have been on my heart and mind since your last vlog when you left for surgery. The Lord is So Good to his children and I am happy your surgery and recovery went well. Jessica, you are such a tender hearted person who loves her family so so much. I adore those qualities.
I will continue to pray for a complete recovery from your surgery. Eagerly awaiting your next vlog post. 🍉

😭😭😭. EVERYTHING you went thru even the emotions came back to me BUT I was knocked out more cus it was done MANY years ago. 10 years later had to have it tweeked some and sooo many changes including wearing patches for 24 hours. But the tears flowed cus I could actually see things that were always a blur. When finally healed all I could do was hug the doctor and cry more tears 😭😭😭. Sadly 6 years ago had retina damage in left eye and have lost my sight. If only they could fix that I’d be running into OR just to relieve these headaches now. YOU DID good now let all heal and enjoy your new sight. 👍👍👍. And love this gift and remember to wear sunglasses. Treat eyes with a lot of kindness. And give thanks to modern medicine to fix things like sight. When ALL healed and later down the road view these videos and have a good is so debilitating. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

You are amazing. I have worn glasses for 40 years. I would love to never have to wear them again. Enjoy your freedom from glasses. Super strong lady. Sending love and positive, healing thoughts.

It is very normal to be nervous with anything medical related, especially surgery. I schedule things first in the morning to get it over with. I can’t wait all day for stuff like that. Wishing you all the best!

I think you are also so emotional because your husband was able to bless you in such an awesome way. And God blessed him so he could bless you. AMEN

As someone with a severe and genetic central vision impairment/vision loss that cannot be treated or corfected in any way I cant imagine what it would bs like to see am happy (and envious!) for you and glad everything went well! We take the simple things such as the ability to see for granted sometimes!

Boy, I know that feeling. I had cataracts removed several years ago that formed due to severe astigmatism and nearsightedness. I was one of the first people in my province (Canada) to have implants put in at the same time. I vividly remember the trip home, only a few blocks, after I got my bandages removed off the first eye.I COULD see, I could read road signs 2 blocks ahead (no I was not driving lol) The green leaves overwhelmed me as we drove along a tree-lined street. I had NO idea what I had been missing, I was so used to seeing life through coke-lens glasses. I now only wear glasses for computer work and reading fine print. Your reaction brought me back to my gratefulness for all God did for me through that surgeon.

Jessica, I am so happy for you. Having myopia and requiring glasses myself from the age of seven, plus the development of astigmatism over the years. I think I understand all the emotions attached to this surgery for you. Like you I feel I am developing sight problems as my new glasses in June have needed to be redone three times so far and are currently terrible. I can't read writing on the television in our own lounge room. By now, you will be home and well on the road to recovery. Take each day as it comes, follow your Doctor's instructions to the letter. I can't wait to see how you progress. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery. ❤️🇦🇺
