He is one of contemporary anime’s most prolific auteurs and has lent his humor and dynamism to genres as diverse as psychedelic thrillers, transcendent rock-operas and sweetly subversive teen romances.

First heard of this director/animator when he was an guest creator for an Adventure Time episode, ‘Food Chain’.
I became more interested in his work after ‘Devil Man Crybaby’ and ‘Keep your hands off Eizouken’.

The only movie I’ve seen from him is Lu Over The Wall but I’ve loved his work in both Kaiba and Devilman Crybaby. Definitely gonna pick this up to experience his other works and support him further
