My honest review after 7 months is that it’s not easy until you change your mindset surrounding your future success. The real world isn’t going to work for you unless you 100% believe that success is around the corner. It’s THE only way you’ll be able to make it through the challenges you’ll face because for the first time in your life most likely, YOU will be the only person who dictates how hard you work, how much time you put into your business, how committed you are to making it work, and how much belief you have in the end goal. No more having a boss make decisions for you, it’s 100% up to you and only you. I’ve had 3 months out of the 7 that have REALLY tested my commitment to my e-commerce business I built from TRW. So much so that I had multiple days where I didn’t spend any money or any time on the business because I was so discouraged. I’m currently doing an average of $18k/month from e-commerce, but I’ve only achieved roughly that for the last 2 months. The first 5 and a half months were a struggle. I’d make $1200 some months, $400 some months, and for 2 months I lost a lot of money. You’ll be failing much, much more than you’ll be succeeding throughout the journey until you find success. I went through 4 products before I made any money at all and put 11 products on my store before I saw the $18k/mo. You must be prepared to fail your way forward and because you’re an entrepreneur and everything is on you, you must be comfortable taking 100% accountability for every single thing that happens to you and your business. The hardest part is failing, accepting the fact that you failed, it was no one else’s fault, your decisions were inadequate, you simply weren’t good enough that time around. The true progress comes when you understand and accept that failure IS success, failure IS learning, failure IS the path forward. That’s my 2¢ on The Real World, hope it helps.

This review is spot on. Good to learn the basics and get in the mindset of working hard and committing to it but you’re not going to become a pro copywriter with TRW alone. Use it to learn the basics, make a couple hundred bucks and then reinvest that money into other courses, mentorship’s etc.

What I see as a big benefit from a guy who gave into a lazy, dopamine packed life since childhood up until recently is a strong emphasis they put on the mindset and discipline.

I finally start recognising, that I'm the one in charge of my life and I can change it if I WORK for it. I'm really glad they keep bringing this stuff up. I'm becoming less of a snowflake with each day.

I can only speculate, but I assume that many people nowadays have to realise the importance of self-accountability in order to grow and TRW does it perfectly.

As for the copywriting skills it's too early to tell, idk

Iv been in for just under 2 months. The TRW has only grown in population. There are still people helping each other. The proffessors regularly reply to comments.

It was a honor to be there. Copywriting professor is super great. And professor Arno is awesome. I just tried TRW for some time and I do not regret that. Because those two professors gave me important lessons. I am not actually doing copywriting. I like trading more so I am in another course and left TRW. But certainly it changed me as person to better. Good investment.

I’m have been at TRW for 3 weeks only. I noticed what you mentioned and fully agree. As a professional in marketing, I’m taking this lessons to go deep into the digital arena, specially because of the link they make with AI. However, it’s híper mega basic the concepts…. It’s not a place to rely fully on the tools they give. Definitely going deeper is needed to master the field and that’s maybe for stage 2; after actually start making money and seek for seminars / books / etc

However!!! I think the biggest asset of the platform is the hype to improve yourself in different aspects. Taking care of your mind, your diet, your body, even your relationship with God. I absolutely love having that daily push and truly getting the idea that nobody is gonna save me… it’s on me and although it’s super difficult to build yourself (specially after failing and being tempted to trait yourself poorly), it is possible and discipline is key. Love it

What I wish is that I could find an fully honest review of Tate's school. You don't know who is helping tate with good reviews and who just wants to bash his courses because they don't like him. The work is not what bothers me. What bothers me is putting so much work without results.

You're right about the community part, the only decent community in there is the experienced one. Outreach I think is fine though, you only need to understand why it works and then create your own.

HU2 is an overhyped solution to the "where to learn copywriting" problem.

One thing is for sure, tate's marketing skills are out of this world

I've been in there for nearly a year now and not made a dime, but I will admit that it is my fault because I've been sort of procrastinating man. I've sent out just under like 200 cold emails because I work a 9-5 currently and I'm training to fight too so I'm in the gym 6-7 days a week. It's difficult sometimes when your schedule is tight.
