Just a thought on forgiveness. As far as I know forgiveness is something that is good for our own personal mental helth. Any psychiatrist will agree. War started in my country SFR Yugoslavia planned by fascist diaspora that seeked revenge - they were all "proudly" catholics! They hold hate and how to make revenge on Yugoslavians, not forgiveness (for kicking them out of the country). Those same "fine catholic fascists" have invented a pilgrimage called medjugorje so they can get money for their plans (reverse Rat Lines), etc. No, I wouldn't associate forgiveness with christianity!

If people understood the Bible in the first place it might help. Jewish allegory is very difficult to understand, especially if you are shallow and can't be bothered or simply take it at face value.

If the only thing stopping you from performing criminal acts is the fear of punishment (e.g. Hell), then I'm sorry to break it to you, but you are not a good person. Most people - religious or not - don't commit crimes because they don't want to cause harm to others; threat of punishment is not required.

I don't understand this "Gay Marriage" thing. I don't care whether people are gay are not but marriage is just a religious thing anyway so why do it? Men and women are not doing it now so why are men? Can't they live together without this stupid formal ceremony? It was designed so men and women could have sex and babies in the sight of God. Big deal.
