what is just as scary is most people in the United States of America don't even know about this end life situation. If i try to tell them they look at me like i'm some kind of nut. they are more concerned with who wins on the tv show dancing with the stars or the voice. i gave up trying to inform people ....not like it would do any good anyways.

You know these people, in the video, are NOT at Daiichi.
They are at DAINI, which is also still contaminated.
Daiichi is a MESS. Nobody can go on the site without taking a lot of precations.

Am I missing something? Why don't they recycle the water through the reactor? It's not a problem of radioactively but a problem of cooling. RE-USE the water dummy ?

The evidence is fairly strong that there was a steam explosion in the unit 4 containment pond which had tonnes of spent and new fuel rods in it. Some reports suggest that there were also fuel rods which were mox type, which are particularly fiendish.

Why don't they cover the entire mountain near by with plastic sheet and divert the runoff water into sea after filtering.
That way they can reduce to min the underground water flow which makes matter worse by washing off Core material.
