I use to use a canned spray paint that was "Sure Shot". Came in florescent green and orange and blue. Each can came with a spray tip and worked like a dream for numbering logs. Don't know if it's still available or perhaps your dad has heard of it or even use it. Just a thought. Boy, I sure miss buying logs and some timber and cutting them up. Good times, good times😊😊

I remember those days. I sent a trainee onto a pile of logs to cut off a branch. A supervisor just happened to be onsite and threatened to shut the whole 10-man operation down for 2 weeks.

It's been a long day working them logs. Chainsaw has been biting into them like a feral hog. Lay em, tag em, count em. Fireplace or building is where you'll mount em. Thank God for that lumber.
