Arch Linux: October 2021 Install - Step by Step

Finally another Arch Linux installation *from scratch* tutorial, step by step!

This time around we'll set up and configure:
* btrfs on root with multiple subvolumes
* Enable AUR using yay
* Swap to compressed RAM via zramd
* LightDM display manager
* The latest Mate 1.26 Desktop!

thank you so much Stephen! just installed Arch using this guide (with slightly different btrfs layout and Plasma instead of Mate), it was much easier to do that with your video:)

it would also be great to see some kind of nvidia installation + optimization guide for Arch because installing nvidia drivers is so painful

i would also install bash-completion at the begining along with the base packages .... that helps with auto-completing and also helps in avoiding typos

hi if any one can help, i install on stack hard and every thing ok and work for 2 days, but when i remove the hard and put it back agine there is no boot and not work and even in bios not shown, any help please
