I'm going into this trial on a clean slate. I haven't watched any media on it and I just want to see how I weigh the evidence against the way the jury will. I know nothing about him or this situation. It'll be interesting to see, then watch any media about it after the trial to see if it may have swayed my opinion

The defense attorney sure is abrasive. She constantly interrupts witnesses & takes a very aggressive posture with them. Yes, defense attorney's job is to defend their client but her heavily accusatory tone won't sit well with the jury. Calm down your caustic stance, Bright-Matthews.

Eye opener the defence attorney was amazing. I once had a neighbor when i was a kid he threw some Kerosene on a fire in a woodstove that splashed back on him and it first caught his pant legs on fire then traveled up to the rest of his body my dad rushed him to the e.r. once K. Called dad screaming and it was All just a freak accident. I loved this defense attorney it came to all common sense period. Great trial

Just listened to the openings so far, but wonder why this wasn't addressed: "Terry said that Craig violently r*ped her before throwing a rag or a shirt lit on fire at her. Terry said that when she tried to throw the rag away, Craig would throw it back until she caught fire before finally stepping on her hand and crushing it."

The defence attorney obviously doesn’t understand ER departments. They can seem chaotic and the doctor is concentrated on the patient and treatment, of course he doesn’t remember who said what.

Idk this case but the defense opening statement sounded reasonable imo. I’m not going to read anything about this case & think like a juror is thinking when hearing the evidence before I come up with an opinion if he’s guilty or not.
He got himself a good, knowledgeable attorney. I just wish she’d stop cutting ppl off. I’m surprised the court hasn’t stopped her beings the reporter is trying to take everything down

This defense attorney could be good but she is overconfident and I imagine her demeanor could get under skin of jurors. Like we are talking about a case where a woman was burned to death and the first day the defense is like well he got a scratch on his face when they tried to investigate. Prosecution needs to try to tell the story better with witnesses. She’s just showing pictures and it’s just kind of odd.
