The writers are playing with fire. Jerome was led to believe he would carry on the mantle of becoming the iconic clown prince of Gotham! Jerome was the reason this show went from 0-100 real quick. Now with him gone it'll leave a void ! I hope they fake death his death cause they would be a blow to a show that has enormous potential.

I understand the concept where the show is heading. Jerome's legacy will be "death and madness" and will inspire every other lunatic but who will eventually become the joker ?!! Whoever it ends up being they have big shoes to fill with Jerome nailing the row!

He's not the Joker, he was an inspiration to others who want to do the exact same thing. The Joker can be anyone and remember what his father said to him. His legacy will be dead and now it is.

I had so much respect for this show. Why did they have to kill Jerome?! Gosh this hurts. Just please write good stuff for penguin. Make him the star.
