I'm not sure how other people think of this since I'm a good child who lives outside of the US, but aren't others concerned??
I don't know how much trouble the kid got, but I'm pretty sure they shouldn't really hang them UPSIDE DOWN or (lightly?) hit them on the head??

I think it might be wise to seek clarification from some of these kids about their answers. The kid who gets in trouble with the police, the kid who says her mom hangs her upside down and hits her on the head, particularly. Maybe these kids were making jokes, but it seems like an odd thing to joke about and definitely worth finding out. I want these kids to be safe and well parented, and it's not possible to know if a parent does stuff like that based on how they present themselves to other adults.

Oof. The number of kids that said spanking concerns me. I really thought that spanking was a thing of the past. :/ We can't teach kids not to hit other people and then turn around and hit them ourselves. How does that make any sense??
