Watching your 2-minute video helped me understand what screen is and why I would need it lightyears more than what reading the man pages did.

Holy fawk, dude. This was succinct af and very useful. I had to rewind a couple times, cause you spoke fast, but also just to triple check my understanding. This video was truly amazing! Thank you!!

When you making a tutorial please wait several seconds BEFORE you hit a enter please, I cant see the end of "ps"/"screen" command etc. thank you it really help, I know you can type fast, but sometimes its better to show it... and slow down.

Great tutorial. I thought it would be cool if I could open more shells to do more stuff and I thought I'd look it up. Sure enough, I saw this cool screen program. I installed Debian without a window manager on an old Pentium 3 machine with 256Mb of ram for a learning tool on Linux. I have a question though: I'm still learning about the shell and I've learned more than I thought I ever would. I know using linux without a window manager is good for slower machines. What kind of things would you use a shell for, over a standard GUI window manager?

Is it possible to split the window into two so that I can view two screens at the same time?

Isn't easier to have two or more instances of terminal running?

Ok, how did you select text in your terminal with your mouse then quickly paste it to the current cursor location? Noob question - i know. I'm taking some Linux classes but they never show us any shortcuts :( Just the good-old-fashioned long-form until we get to higher level classes.
