Christians need to understand that it wasn't Billy Graham who saved millions by sharing the gospel but rather it was the gospel that saved millions through hearing it.

Better to be divided by the truth than to be united in error.

While I do not see John MacArthur as in fallible (as so many of of his follows act accordingly), he is absolutely right in his assessment of Billy Graham and the Catholic church. He is not alone.

Thank you for uploading this. It was so hard to find anything getting Jmac summarizing Billy Graham more currently than the original sermon from 30+ years ago

MacArthur was very gracious about this. Personally, I think Billy Grahame knew exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it and which master he was doing it for.

These are words of truth from Dr. MacArthur. Big crowds and notoriety often equate to worldly capitulation. Most of the crowd of thousands that Christ fed walked away when His Message did not fit their worldly desires.

Billy is still leading souls to Jesus after his death with the Billy Graham classics. He brought me back to Christ last year

Billy leaned towards ecumenism with catholics

Billy GRAHAM was a catholic front man.
Those who answered his “altar call” were given counseling by catholic priests and nuns.
Billy graham said JESUS
Was not the only way to heaven.

Graham made the heresy of the Sinners Prayer world wide.

I didn’t listen to the entire video, but watched Billy on video several times and I gotta say he got some things wrong. I saw him on Larry King with other non Christian people, talking about heaven and who would go there. He said he thought non- Christians would go to heaven, also he was a Free Mason—- pay attention to the hand shake. Some of the things he said is very telling. I used to watch him on tv & even attended one of his crusades when he was in town. It took me awhile to see his errors. Very sad in the end, Billy Graham was Wrong.

So good to hear the truth that the sinful world wants to keep covered up. The sinful world tries to prop up sinful heros but the truth can't be help back. Truth is like holding water in your hand, it gets out.

Very true! It's a pity JMA didn't also address altar calls, because it's also BG, l believe, who initiated this trend and led to many false/superficial conversions. How many people falsely thought they were saved just because they responded and then went on living as before, without mentioning that BG sent back to the Catholic church all those with a Catholic background. As an exCatholic myself, I think this is terrible.

Why is there so much noise in the background?

Pity the sound is so poor. There are other voices intruding. Would you redo this recording.

Billy Graham is definitely one of the best evangelists out there, at one point could he have said something in biblical? Yes but it doesn’t change his overall endurance love and faith to Jesus. Peter made mistakes too, they all did from time to time, we are humans. People like Johny Mac want to be the best not because they are, but want it by default, if they make someone look worse, they hope they will look better.

Billy wasn't a pastor but he was a great evangelist and I believe his impact was significant in fact millions came to Christ through his ministry, training, radio outreach, world wide pictures, internet Evangelism, decision magazine and other initiatives. perhaps it was unwise of Billy to "work with anyone who would work with us" but I believe he didn't do that with any desire to damage the witness of Christ. The church as a whole has been hopeless at Evangelism had we seen a crop of Billy's and a crop of McArthurs we would have seen the western church making a colossal impact.

I like RC Sproul's quote about Billy. On my personal opinion, we can imagine how many people came to Christ through him. Then again we can't calculate how many have came through JMAC.
