The reason they’re not working, is that Bachs music generally had the same modal relationships. Meaning standard major and minor scales, sometimes referred to as Ionian and Aeolian. (Occasionally drifting off into the other modes only for effect). The Google AI machine learning, then has a much easier task of analysing these., and will always force any other music into those relationships. You can hear that it is basically misunderstanding the more sophisticated scales involved in modal rock music.

When Google had their Bach melody/AI day, I tested it by inputting the first few bars of Coltrane's Giant Steps. The AI algorithm had major issues trying to handle the jumps in chords. It added a bunch of transition notes to get from one note/chord to the next.

Satisfaction is in E MIxolydian so maybe your key signature is wrong? try it with an A key signature
