I might be 2 years late, but after 1.5 years learning to fly, film and edit with the DJI Mini 2 I've purchased a refurbished Air 2S from DJI! I bought your LUTS a while ago and have been using the DayBreak on my Sunrise videos and hoping to see the colors pop even more when I use your D-Log LUTS!

Great video as always Darren. Got the Air2S when it came out in April in UK and no regrets. Firmware updates have definitely improved it even further. Another bonus compared to Mini2 is extra headroom with 5.4k 10-bit video - this has saved my bacon when editing down to 4k timeline and the ability to crop, pan, zoom to correct minor flying errors. Shame that Mastershots and ActiveTrack aren't available when shooting 5.4k (doubt it'll ever come via firmware updates as higher res is resource intensive) but can always drop back to 4k to use those as needed.

My Phantom 3 Pro developed a “gimbal disconnected” error, which no one can solve without repair and no one does repairs on the P3 anymore so that as they say is that. Anyway I saw this video. Looked at a couple of others and the result is my DJI Air2S comes tomorrow. 👍 Update: Man what an upgrade from my Phantom. Everything has been improved! 👏

There are deals out there. I live in Ireland and bought the Air 2S Fly More Combo at a euro 180 discount from one of the main consumer retailers here this week. Your reply to one of my comments (about your re-evaluation) was one of the deciding factors. As always, keep you the great work, Darren. I was out flying with wind over 30MPH yesterday. My Mini 2 could just not cope, but my Air 2S had no problems at all. I just joined FPVUK and part of their membership improves where the Air 2S can be flown. I must try the tracking again. I have not tried tracking since my 2S crashed into trees a couple times in its early days

Well, I have a Parrot Anafi, a Mavic 2 Pro and a Mini 2. Recently bought Air 2S for 1130€ in the combo version. I am thinking about it to sell the 2 Pro now... and of course, I am waiting for a Mini 3 :) I hope they will continuously add some more features. Thanks for your honest review

Picked up a Mavic Air 2 fly more combo off a guy on Ebay, only flew it 3X for $600 + $48 Tax +$21 delivery $671 total. The DJI Air 2S & Mini 3 pro will also drop in price. Why is everyone comaparing the Air 2S with the Mini 3 when in my opinion The 2S is way better Than Mini 3 Pro and is closer in comparison to the Mavic Air 2? I do not get the need for object avoidance. If you want to fly close to stuff get an FPV cinewhoop. Lower latency and do not have to worry about bumping into stuff.

Have you heard about zino mini pro? It has a 1/1.3 sensor. It has front, back down sensors. It is under 249g. It is almost an air 2.

Dude when you buy the new drone always wait a least 2 or 3 months for new updates because most of this drone features are software base and can be fix with simple update. always Be patience when new products coming. I have some problems like you said with this drone but I wait for update and with this new updates the drone is great right now. Keep up the good work man. Me and my girlfriend house are (2km) from each other and I sent her the love letter and some flower with my drone air 2s near her windows once in the week and she answer my letter and sent it back with her air 2 and we have a lot of fun with this drones 😁
