Today was our first day of first grade with learning God's story ❤❤❤

Hi! I just had to throw this in. I did MFW gr 1 with my son last year (along with 2 others in ECC - first year!) and we really enjoyed it! I felt like it was so perfect for him - just right level (slightly on the easy side, but the pace was really good!), and he LOVED drawing in his Bible notebook and drawing animals for the Eric Carle book. Here’s my main point, though: I was so moved by the “Tales from Cherry Lane” book. I honestly felt so personally convicted during so many of the stories! I’ve been so thankful for all this curriculum for me and my kids.
And thank YOU, Christina, for all your tips, insights and encouragement to me and all of us! ☺️

What does the MFW phonics look like in a day until they get to the Bible reader which is around week 12? We just finished AAR level 1 for kindergarten but I'm overwhelmed that my child won't have "all" their phonics for 3 more years with that program! I really appreciate your videos. I really like MFW but I'm nervous to make the transition to their first grade program. What do you suggest? Do you think I could do MFW first grade after doing AAR level1? My child is really ready to take off reading, and I'm overwhelmed with "ALL" the rules in AAR. Thank you for your help!
