I remember this part, and I remember the fear and panic I had when he had all those spike plates pointed straight at my face, I was not very good at portal 2 so my mind was racing, I genuinely felt threatened by this part, the mixture of the visual of giant spike plates pointed right at your face coupled with the onimous music really made me feel like I was Chell for a moment.

Wheatley MADE sure that this was the part where he kills us. He even had the song named “the part where he kills you” and had a special achievement made for when you get there. The irony of it all is that not only does he fails to kill you 20 times, this is technically the chapter YOU KILL HIM.
