Always held a special place in my heart this piece of music. Its a different version of the music playing when the Fifth Fleet charges at the Battle of the Citadel in ME1. Probably one of the most epic moments in 21st Century gaming.

What?? Already finished?? Nooo, when I listened to this I remembered the Mass Effect 1 moment where the Normandy destroys Sovereign!!! T___T This game is gonna be so EPIC!!!

This is just a Demo of that OST.
Notice how it cuts roughly at the end.
We will see full version once Bioware decided to release entire ME3 OST, which will happen before ME3 release.

If you didn't tell me this was the ME3 theme then I never would have associated that music with Mass Effect.

It sounds like they're trying to mimic the style of the orchestral scores for the Halo series; but doing a poor job of it. The score is slow and somber; but not really moving or beautiful it just sounds like the sort of generic orchestral work you hear accompanying a WWII documentary and it really doesn't fit Mass Effect.

I miss the unique feel of the ME1 soundtrack.
