I take a look at both the MOZA R9 and the CAMMUS 15DD. Giving my honest opinion and reviews on the wheel bases in racing and drifting, head to head. What I like and Dislike about them and how they differ.

Remove damping or spring filters in the cammus software. And then you feel as much or even more details than the r9. I have both... the r9 stays on the shelf

Nearlly all the cammus reviews I've seen have said the same thing as you about fine detail. I'm torn but by I pretty much only drift so maybe the cammus will b better for me. But either way both have to feel pretty real compared to the TM tmx I got lol

I have the cammus 15nm and it got much better with time, especially with the release of the newer firmwares and it is even better with the beta 1.6. I pretty much play only assetto corsa and RBR, you absolutely have to put power and effects at 100% and all the filters and dampers at 0% (you can leave a 5% filters to avoid hurting your hands in case of a sudden crash). Put the gain at 100% in content manager. Now you set the right amount of ffb when you drive the cars trough the use ffbclip, in this way you will have the best ffb possible tailored for each car. The only thing I don’t like of cammus is the wheel that comes with the wheelbase, the diameter is too big. So I had to buy a fanatec McLaren to use when I race with gts and formulas(wheelbase is compatible with pretty much all wheels from any manifacturer trough the use of the cammus quick), and a cone shaped 330mm omp alcantara to use for drifting and rallying

If you want more torque than an R9, you either go Simagic Alpha Mini or Moza R16. I would not get a Cammus. Torque isn't everything when it comes to a DD.

The Cammus provides a lot of torque for the money, but the button box is worse than switch joycons, the force feedback is terrible in many games like AMS2 and ACC, the software is very rudamentary, the customer support is all chinese and slow to respond, and the warranty is a pain in the ass unless you're an influencer.

An Alpha Mini gives you about 13Nm of torque, and their GT1-R wheel is significantly better than the junk from Cammus. The quality control is better, you can buy from local retailers in various countries, and you get a 1 year warranty. It lacks a bit of road detail like the Cammus, but not as bad. It's also consistent between games, whereas the Cammus feels different in every game.

If your pockets are deeper, you want raw power, and you want loads of detail, then a Moza R16 is the best bang for buck. The Moza Pit House software manages to extract tons of detail from every game, and you can easily amplify it using the EQ tab. It can be bought locally in many countries, and you get a 2 year warranty with good customer support (unless you're in the US, then it may be 1 year because the US sucks). Many companies in the commercial side of sim racing are also surprisingly switching from Simucube to Moza because of the simplicity of Pit House combined with the road detail.
